This service of the Children's Bureau in the Administration for Children and Families of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services provides access to state, US, and international data and statistics on the incidence of child abuse and neglect, deaths due to child abuse and neglect, and estimated costs of child abuse and neglect. Prevent Child Abuse Iowa is engaged in researching child abuse and neglect and ways to prevent them.  PCA Iowa publishes information on trends in Iowa child abuse, with a focus on county-specific information.  Detailed county-specific information compiled by the Prevent Child Abuse Iowa executive director and staff is available in the Research & Data section of the Prevent Child Abuse Iowa Grantees Dashboard.  Through the Grantees Dashboard access tables such as Denial of Critical Care and Physical Injury Cases, 2009-2012; Sexual Abuse Cases, 2009-2012; Child Abuse Cases Involving Drugs, 2009-2012; and Child Abuse Cases, 2009-2012.
