A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide."  UN Women supports UN member states as they set standards for achieving gender equality and works with governments and civil society to design laws, policies, programs, and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented to benefit women and girls worldwide.  Reports are included in the News & Events and the Digital Library sections.

The mission of the Women's March on Washington Archives Project includes "collecting oral histories in order to document the local and national grassroots movement  'Women’s March on Washington' to show the scope of the movement, the range of reasons women are marching, and so that women’s political resistance may be documented,"  Use the Files section to access oral histories, photos, and other material.
