Use Databases to Find Scholarly Articles

To identify articles in religion, consult the following indexes and abstracts. To search those indexes available electronically, go to the Rod Library home page. Select the desired index or abstract title from the Databases A-Z listing under the Articles tab.

Only available in print. Provides citations of modern Islamic literature, from 1905-2006.

ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials
A product of the American Theological Library Association, including research literature from over 650 journals and 14,000 multi-author books. Covers the mid-20th Century to the present. Updated quarterly.
JSTOR
Short for "Journal Storage," JSTOR includes the full text of thousands of journals in the humanities, from Vol. 1, Issue 1 to at least 2000 (many include full text all the way to this year)
Academic OneFile
Indexes articles in general academic disciplines from 1980 to the present. Some full-text articles are available. "Religion" and related terms may be searched for by subject or keyword.
