Geography: Finding Books

Use UNISTAR to Find Books

Use UNISTAR, the online catalog, to identify and locate books and information on geography.  Information on the discipline of geography may be found under the subject heading "Geography."  A variety of other subject headings may also be used to find relevant information:

Agricultural Geography
City Planning
Human Geography
Land Settlement Patterns
Land Use
Physical Geography

Information on the geography of named geographical features and particular regions, countries, cities, and other locales is found under the name of the feature or placed in the subject index of UNISTAR.  Use names or other terms followed by subheadings for more precise results.  For example:

China – Description and travel
China – Geography
Yellowstone National Park – Description and travel

Searching by place name in the subject index may also work.  For example:

Cedar Falls
Washington D.C.

If what you are looking for is not a subject heading, then try a keyword search.
