Philosophy Research Guide

Use ONESEARCH to find books

Use OneSearch, the online catalog, to identify and locate books and other resources in the area of philosophy. UNISTAR is located on the Rod Library home page under the Library Catalog tab.  To ensure that you use appropriate subject terms when you search UNISTAR, consult the Library of Congress Subject Headings books which are locatedon the main floor at the Reference Desk. A wide range of subject headings may be used to find information in this area. Choose the subject headings that best match your topic. You can also find information on specific philosophers. Some examples are:

Note that if you search for the name of a philosopher in the author mode you will find books written by that philosopher, while searching for that same name as a subject will result in books written about that philosopher.
