If you are looking for (peer-reviewed) research articles, go to the "Find Research Articles" tab for a full list of library-owned databases to use. For a full list of Google search tips, go to the "Get Search Tips" tab.

To search for publicly available information on the web, limit your searches to government and/or organizational websites using the site: command.

If you want to find statistics, consider putting the word statistics as one of your keywords:

  • Example: "heart disease"  site:org

  • Example: "opioid addiction"  site:gov

  • Example: "drowning"  "statistics" site:gov
