Use this guide to access library resources and services off-campus to assist with your online courses.
Near or Far, the Library is here to support you!

Rod Library is
OPEN ONLINE and offering as many services as possible. We offer robust remote access to library resources, services, and are available for your questions and research help via chat, email, and Zoom.

Request Curbside Pickup

While the library is closed to the public, we will offer curbside book pickup.

Requests can be made anytime. Curbside pickup hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday.

Library users may "request" materials (including Youth books) through the online catalog (see below) or by calling us at 319-273-2838. Please allow library staff one hour to retrieve your requested materials. You will receive an email stating the materials are ready for pick-up. Requests made after 2:30 pm will not be available until the following day.

Once you have been notified your materials are ready for curbside pickup,

  • Please call 319-273-2838 before you leave home.
  • Your items should already be deposited into the "Curbside Pickup" tote located next to the curbside pickup sign.
