Global Trade Practices

This guide is intended to help students identify important resources and search tools.

Finding Articles

The tools in this section index and in many cases provide the full text of articles in scholarly journals, trade journals, general business magazines, and in newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal.

Trade journals focus on certain industries, occupations, or markets and can be valuable resources, especially for relatively small industries. Some trade journals make their articles available to everyone for no charge; other journals may charge by the article. Particular trade journals may be available in library subscription databases such as ABI/INFORM.

Other journals and magazines, such as the Economist, provide economic news and analysis of all regions of the world.
