Each faculty member has the authority to create their own policies for their courses. This may mean you are navigating multiple polices. It is in your best interest to understand these policies and ask for clarification if you are unsure about what is or is not allowed.
If you are in a class that encourages the use of AI, I strongly recommend using the UNI-promoted tools, which IT has ensured have the necessary data protection contracts in place.
At the time of this course, those products are Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and Google's NotebookLM.
