This database can be limited by historic time periods (e.g. decades).
Set search to SU Subject or AB Abstract

Be sure to limit by publication date (your professor may have a cutoff date such as nothing older than 1985).
Be sure to scroll further down the page and check the box for the field of :"History".

UNI search engine for books and articles.
For books choose "Books/Media" to turn OneSearch into the library catalog and look for books owned by Rod Library. To find primary materials set your search or results ("Publication Date") to the specific years of your study.

Note - adding the search term "history" to an additional search blank and changing the dropdown menu to "Subject" at the front of the search blank.

This database will automatically search the full text of the entire book.
It is possible to search by subject terms or title if you use the Advance Search feature.

To search the full text of books you must change the Dropdown Menu to TX All Text Fields.
