Choose a Topic 

There are many ways to generate topics for an assignment: 

• Meet with your professor. They can help you generate, develop, and provide examples of suitable topics. 
• Chat with your classmates. What are they considering? Brainstorm together to generate ideas and find out what interests you. 
• Brainstorm! Create a mind map of keywords, ideas, items, themes, subjects, or questions you have about the topic. 
• Browse! Look at news articles, textbooks, and reference materials (i.e. encyclopedias or Wikipedia).

The library has access to 2 databases that each have a bank of popular topics and accompanying resources on popular and current topics.
