Minimum Guidelines for Course Pages [DELETE OR HIDE ME]

[Course guide pages are more flexible in design to allow for your individual teaching needs. You will still need to follow best practices to ensure your guide is usable and accessible:

  • Do not link in rich-text, instead use database and/or link assets
  • Keep bulleted lists to six or less resources
  • Embed videos using the Media/Widget option using code generated from Embed Responsively
  • Add alt-text to all images
  • Add short custom database descriptions using plain language (i.e. "Contains full-text articles on topics in psychology from APA-published journals" or "Search this database to find statistics")

Once you have read these instructions and completed the creation of your guide, you may delete this box. Optionally, you may submit your guide to Claire Bowling for review.]
