This week’s assigned reading task requires you to identify two independent readings on the subject of witchcraft in Colonial America. Choose your selections through your own research, using search engines or databases in the Find Secondary Sources section of this LibGuide or mining the bibliographies of previously assigned course texts for citations of studies you would like to read. Your selections can come in the form of journal articles and/or book chapters, so if you find interesting full-length books during your search processes, you can select one chapter from a monograph or two chapters from different authors in an edited collection on witchcraft for this assignment. You will then read your two selections in their entirety to complete weekly instructional activities at Blackboard.
Note: in order to become better conversant with the current state of the field of witchcraft studies, the pieces you identify and select must have a publication date after 2000, and you should strive for at least one of your selections to have been published in 2010 or later.
