These reports, written by commerical organizations,  usually include data and analysis of the buyers and sellers of particular products and services. Other organizations, such as trade associations and government agencies, also produce reports on industries and markets.

Government Reports

State and federal governments gather data and publish reports on industries. The U.S. Census Bureau, for example, publishes numerous surveys and census reports on industries and geographic areas.
