Since 2008, Adam Hammes has worked in 7 countries on 4 continents. He has helped more Iowa companies develop corporate sustainability strategies than anyone. Adam started a grassroots sustainability nonprofit in Des Moines; brought a series of leading CEOs and training to the state; became the first manager of sustainability and now manager of social responsibility for Kum & Go; launched a local industry association, the Iowa Sustainable Business Forum; wrote 2 books, Stress-Free Sustainability and Sustainable Business in Iowa; and speaks and consults regularly on sustainability. Adam consistently gets asked to meet with students preparing to enter the job market and professionals looking to switch careers to focus on social and environmental responsibility.
