1. Head to https://www.nytimes.com/ and click on Log In (upper right-hand corner of page).
   
2. Click on "Continue with Google"
   
3. Use your CAT ID
   

 
 

1. Click on the three-horizontal-lines icon (the "pancake" icon" in the upper lefthand corner of the main New York Times page (next to the "search" icon)
   
2. Slide to the bottom of the options and hover over the "More" option
   
3. Slide over to the menu that then pops up and click on the TimesMachine option
